PERBEDAAN KESEHATAN MENTAL IBU PASCA MELAHIRKAN DITINJAU DARI TINGKAT PENDIDIKAN, JUMLAH ANAK, DAN JENIS PEKERJAAN
Abstract
ABSTRACT
This study aims to determine the differences in mental health of postpartum mothers in terms of education level, number of children, and type of employment. This study used quantitative methods with research data collected through Google Forms filled in by mothers who gave birth in the last 6 months. Data analysis in this study used 3-way Anova. Mental health variable was measured using the adapted MHI-18 scale. The results of the three-way ANOVA test showed that the number of children had a significant effect on the mental health of postpartum mothers (p < 0.05), while the level of education and types of employment did not show a significant effect. In addition, there was no interaction between the independent variables simultaneously in influencing the mental health of postpartum mothers. The results of this study also highlight the importance of providing support to mothers who have more children. The social support from family and society is key in helping mothers cope with postpartum psychological distress.
