PERAN RASA SYUKUR TERHADAP KESEJAHTERAAN SUBJEKTIF PADA MAHASISWA DENGAN DUKUNGAN SOSIAL SEBAGAI MEDIATOR
Abstract
ABSTRAK
Memiliki hidup yang sejahtera merupakan impian semua manusia termasuk mahasiswa. Mahasiswa kerap mengalami tantangan seperti cemas, stres, mudah merasa bosan maupun tertekan dengan beban tugas yang tidak teratasi dapat berujung pada rendahnya kesejahteraan subjektif mahasiswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji peran rasa syukur terhadap kesejahteraan subjektif dengan dukungan sosial sebagai mediator. Penelitian melibatkan partisipan sebanyak 373 mahasiswa di kota Kendari. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan menggunakan Skala Kesejahteraan Subjektif, The Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (MPSS) dan Skala Bersyukur Indonesia (SBI). Analisis mediasi menunjukkan bahwa rasa syukur berperan secara positif terhadap dukungan sosial (β=0,1901) dan kesejahteraan subjektif (β=0,6032), kemudian dukungan sosial berperan secara positif terhadap kesejahteraan subjektif (β=0,7750). Terakhir, dukungan sosial memediasi peran rasa syukur terhadap kesejahteraan subjektif (β=0,1473). Kesimpulannya yaitu dukungan sosial memediasi peran rasa syukur terhadap kesejahteraan subjektif. Tingginya rasa syukur akan meningkatkan dukungan sosial, kemudian dukungan sosial dapat meningkatkan kesejahteraan subjektif.
