Focus and Scope

The focus of AQLAM is to provide readers with a better understanding of Islamic Studies and present developments through the publication of articles and book reviews.

AQLAM specializes in the study of the Qur’an, Hadith, Islamic Philosophy, Islamic History and Culture, Theology, Mysticism, and Local Wisdom in Indonesia, and is intended to communicate original researches and current issues on the subject. This journal warmly welcomes contributions from scholars of related disciplines.

Peer Review Process

Every manuscript submitted to AQLAM is independently reviewed by at least two reviewers in the form of "double-blind review". Decision for publication, amendment, or rejection is based upon their reports/recommendation. In certain cases, the editor may submit an article for review to another, third reviewer before making a decision, if necessary.

 

Publication Frequency

AQLAM is published twice a year (June and December)

 

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
