JIEP: Journal of Islamic Education Policy was established by the Graduate Program of the State Institute for Islamic Studies (IAIN) Manado in 2016. Its establishment stemmed from the need to provide an academic platform that supports the development and study of Islamic education policies in Indonesia.
Founded with the vision of strengthening the integration of Islamic values and educational policies, JIEP serves as a platform for publishing research findings, conceptual studies, and critical analyses related to Islamic education policies. The journal also aims to encourage policy innovations that are relevant to the dynamics of Islamic education in both global and local contexts.
In its initial publication phase, JIEP was designed to attract academics, practitioners, and stakeholders in Islamic education, both domestically and internationally. By focusing on topics such as Islamic education governance, curriculum, teaching methodologies, and the impact of policies on education quality, JIEP has continued to contribute as a credible source of academic reference.
To this day, JIEP remains committed to its mission of advancing the study of Islamic education policies and playing a significant role in fostering academic discourse that aligns with the needs of the times.
